Luxurious comfort nestled in the wild Costa Rica jungle, with breathtaking ocean views including the famous Whales Tail reef. This stunning 3-bedroom, 3 ½-bath home has many unique design elements inspired from Bali, including natural stone and wood carvings. The large outdoor living spaces include a spacious patio, palapa with hammocks, infinity edge swimming pool, and a swim up bar with outdoor kitchen. There are several pool lounge chairs as well as plenty of outdoor furniture.

The home is fully equipped with a solar system and backup battery, wireless internet, flat-screen televisions, dishwasher, washer/dryer unit, BBQ, multi-car garage, gated entrance, and a large safe for valuables. Three bedrooms with air-conditioner units, and en-suite bathrooms. An outdoor garden tub and shower are the main attractions of the master bedroom.

Ballena Royale is less than a 10 minute drive from the coastal highway. 4WD vehicle is recommended. The Scala and Jolly Roger bar and restaurants are a few minutes down the road. Local pristine beaches and towns (Dominical and Uvita) with shopping and restaurants are a 10 to 20 minute drive.

“This was by far the nicest rental home we have ever stayed in. The interior is well laid out with 3 master suites, each having its own bathroom and closet. The kitchen is spacious with perfect views of the gorgeous backyard through large floor to ceiling glass doors. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could want to prepare a meal, shakes, coffee, etc. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot. The view from the backyard is amazing, one of the best in the world. You can enjoy the view from the pool, enormous back porch, or from one of the three hammocks in the gazebo. Outdoor seating is plentiful. During our entire stay, there was a sloth in the tree just outside of the downstairs master bedroom. There are two restaurants, a small store, a coffee shop just minutes away. The only downsides are bugs, which are mostly ants, but it's Costa Rica so they are everywhere. The pool is not heated, which is fine on sunny afternoons, but too cold for me personally on overcast days. Bottom line, you will want to stay in this home your entire stay and sad when you have to leave.”

Stephen helped us understand the property at check-in and other helpful tips throughout our stay to ensure we had all the information we needed to make the most of our stay while in the area. My only complaint is that we eventually had to check out and get back to reality.”
